I'm tired of using my computer to watch programming from Netflix. Roku has given me all the comfort for uninterrupted HD signal in my series and movies. Thank God ROKU

Miracast

Needed to replace my old roku 2 and read that the new 2is just as powerful as the old 3. Works great. Remote now has a amazon button. Miracast was a great surprise as was the go back 10 seconds button. When you press this it not only goes back 10 secs but it puts the conversations on the screen so u don't have to keep rewinding to make out what was said.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great update to the best series of media players

I bought this a couple weeks ago to replace an old Roku 2 XS that was starting to have issues. This new Roku is a great, it is much faster than the old one! I highly recommend Roku to all of my friends and family as they have the best selection of streaming services and the devices are easy to use!

I can not get Vudu why?

I wrote to Roku about why can I not get Vudu. My many attempts to tried to sign up, but when it comes to my credit card. Which everything is correct about my credit card. It is a good credit card. It will not accept my credit card! why not? I left a message with your customer service department, but for days now I have not receive an answer! Why? For this I am giving Roku a poor rating!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost Perfect

There are a few issues with the Roku design, but overall it's well worth the money, time, and effort to set it up. Some LCD screens interfere with remote operation. Keep the Roku box as far from the screen as possible. There is also an odd HDMI issue too. Audio become garbled and reseating the HDMI cable corrects the issue. Happens about once a day. This happens regarless of the quality and length of the HDMI cable.

I upgraded from a Roku 1 and it looks basically the same. It's my 3rd Roku device. The best part of the new 2 is that it forced me to use an HDMI cable to connect to the TV. A noticeable improvement in picture quality! Only drawback is that the software is a little tricky to use for my Netflix List and don't like that Netflix titles will automatically start playing. Otherwise I'm very glad to have the 2

I bought the Roku 2 with the understanding that Netflix had user profiles. Apparently there are 2 models of the Roku 2, and if you're unlucky enough to buy the wrong model you don't get that feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
