I got this as a Christmas gift from my husband because I specifically wanted to watch the Food Matters TV channel. I am in love with it!! Finally something on TV that sparks my interest, is educational and informative.

Easy Affordable Entertainment

I bought the Roku 2 as a gift for my husband; months ago i had convinced him to cancel our expensive DirectTV because of the cost- but he really missed his tv! With the Roku we can pay for only what we want to watch and have access to tons of great options all from one device. I would recommend this along with a subscription to SlingTV to anyone who's tired of paying tons of money to cable companies- only to watch a few channels!

When it works, it works fine. Good features and nice variety of streaming sources. However, I've learned that you have to reboot it often, especially if it's been sitting and running for awhile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great alternative to cable TV!

I bought my Roku 2 about a month ago and I have to admit, I am pleasantly surprised. With Netflix, Hulu and Amazon prime available, all of my families movie watching needs are met. WWE network being available makes this a must have in my household. The setup was quick and easy. Plan on buying another in the next month or so.
