Had an Apple TV and it was very slow. Bought a Ruko 2 and WOW! It it very fast.

My Roku was a Christmas gift from my son. It has to be one of the better Christmas gifts I have received . The choices for viewing are plentiful and varied. Set up is very easy!

The overall feel of the new Roku 2 is good. Screen mirror is in beta and disconnected each time I used my tablet to do a direct connection. There are apps that link but I haven't found one that mirrors what I'm watching on the tablet like the chromecast tried to do. I haven't found a good solution for screen mirroring on any device I've used yet.

This new Roku takes forever to load a show or movie. Then it gets hung up on 98 or 99% and never finishes. I either have to turn it off and turn it on again or reload the show several times. By then I'm just ready to go to bed a read a book.
I am very disappointed with this product. It was a gift so I cannot return it. I wish you would tell me how I can send a refund to my son.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
