The Roku is working great! My only issue is I can't find a way to turn it off when finished. It just always stays on and I don't like that.

My brother had highly recommended the Roku to me a number of times. I decided to purchase the Roku 2 as a Christmas gift for my family. After a few weeks getting familiar with it I am like Wow! why would anyone want to pay for cable or satlite. The Roku 2 is perfect fit.

We got Roku 2 as a Christmas gift and, overall, are very happy with it. However, too many times a program will stop and "Loading...Please wait" will appear and it's quite annoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was given as a gift from our son so we would have more television choices to watch. I thought we would have access to more channels - not realizing we had to have paid subscriptions to watch cable quality programming. Adding up the costs of the channels we would want to subscribe to... it would cost about the same as purchasing cable tv which is what we were trying to avoid. If we buy cable then we don't need a Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was easy to install and to use with lots of free channels I did not expect! I can get everything that I watched on cable and then some!

I have the Chromecast and thought I would try the Roku for a different room. I have to be honest, I am not that impressed with it. It doesn't save my log in info, the "free" choices are few and far between and I am just not as happy with it as much as I am my Chromecast.

bought this because everyone was hounding me about getting Netflix. I have to say it is awesome!! I love it and so does my family. As a matter of fact, we haven't watched regular television since we bought it. I could save tons of $$ if I just cancel our U-Verse account!! I just might. Waiting to see if the newness wears off. But so far 2 weeks and it hasn't.
