Got this for Christmas. Setup was pretty straight forward and had no issues. we have watched a few movies and shows and works great. also did the casting video to the player and only had a few issues with the player not recognizing the format.
I would recommend this to a friend!

At one point, I had an Apple TV and had returned it. Now, I was looking again at streaming video players and after online research and the frustration that Apple doesn't offer a native Amazon app, I decided to try a Roku 2. This device is fantastic, works great, and has it all over Apple TV. Dump all those extra Direct TV or cable boxes you do not really use, and buy a bunch of these. The device has a coolness factor that reminded me when TiVo first hit the market years ago with the advent of the cool DVR. I look forward to wearing my Roku out.

no complains so far...but some movies channels stop at the middle of the movie and start from the beginning, i have to fast forward the movie and then wait for all the commercials before the movie starts again.
