Simple solution

When my wife's laptop, which we used for streaming, developed an issue, I decided to try a streaming device, and the Roku 2 had the best reviews. It is such an improvement. Very easy to set up and use, and I have downloaded the app, so I can use my iPad keyboard. Love it.

We cut the cord over two years ago. We have a 3 in the living room and it works great. I just boughts my wife a 2 to replace the tempermental Chromecast in the bedroom. No more fussing with the CC!

Great...so far

This was a gift. I haven't had it very long so I'm still figuring out the availability etc. I have a Samsung Smart TV which would make you think that the Roku is somewhat redundant but it is not. The Roku works and the Smart TV doesn't! It was easy to set up my pre-existing streaming accounts and without knowing the hocus pocus of the hardware software stuff the streaming seems to be much more consistent without a lot of buffering. Overall I'm quite pleased with the Roku

We've had the Roku a couple weeks now. We have to restart it quite a bit. It shows a purple screen with "HDCP Unauthorized. Content Disabled" I restart and it works fine again. I wish there was a power off button, so maybe I could just turn it off and not have to unplug it. I like that I can stream music on it, as we also have a WiiU that doesn't let us do this. It's nice for parties or background music when cleaning.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago after continually being disappointed with my Chromecast that I've had for 11 months. I was expecting to have similar issues with this but bought the Roku 2 and it meets my demands. The many apps in one spot suits what I need. No issues so far!

I've had my Roku 2 for almost a month now, super easy to use & was a no hassle set up. Although make sure you have all the connecting cables most aren't in the box.
