Have had trouble staying connected since I got it. About 3 hours in 6 weeks.

I had never seen the point in getting yet another streaming device since almost all of my existing electronics provided some amount of streaming built in. That was until I got a Roku and realized the benefits of a well designed product that can easily search and price out all of my viewing options. It handles all streaming services equally (doesn't favor one over another), and was trivial to setup. Works great with Sling TV.

We bought two and one did not work. When we tried the second one it was easy to set up. The one drawback is getting used to not being able to just press in channel numbers or hit the last button for the last channel.

I bought this to upgrade a previous Roku 2, marked XD, which began behaving oddly. This one is faster, and the Netflix app is much mo' bettah. Many apps seem to update themselves and acquire the needed credentials after I logged the new box into Roku's cloud. Happy with the Amazon button, too, since Man does not live by Netflix alone. Wish there was a trade-in program, but I'm happy with my Roku 2, so far.

I made the mistake of buying an Apple TV first. I love the roku it has so much more to offer than Apple TV very highly recommend.
