I brought a Roku about two weeks ago. And still having trouble logging into the server. I an not a geek or brand new to computers. But trying to get it , so it will work off my router. It's running off my computer now, but it cuts off after awhile. Roku needs a step by step instructions !!

I bought a Roku about 3 year ago for my mom so she could stream JW Broadcasting. In watching TV with her I got so hooked I bought myself a Roku 3 in January 2016 and Friday April 22nd 2016 I Bought another 2 Roku 2 for my friends. Great device, easy to setup and use, and reasonable price too. The options in content is great although I mostly stream JW Broadcasting I highly recommend Roku to any of my friends who is thinking of buying a device for streaming movies on Netflix, Hulu etc.,and especially streaming JW Broadcasting.

If there is slight off angle you can't get key pressed function. Needs to be in straight angle. Also HD quality is not good. I have roke 3 and i don't see these issues in it( remote and picture quality) So Roku 2 is not as great as roku 3
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

RoKurt is a whimsical alternative to the litany of cable and dish company that have limited charges accompanied by humongous bills. I'm sure that they need a dish for all the money they collect. Roku, however, gives you choice. Anything you want. All types of programming in every genre imaginable. I love it, generally. For last few days though, I have experienced programs cutting off and as of yet it has not been repaired. I feel confident that Team Roku will fix it soon. I still recommend Roku for you viewing pleasure.

Bought the Roku 2 to replace my Apple TV v2. The product is simple, fast and flexible to set up and use. I like the open standards design. Very happy and wish I had done this years ago instead of waiting!

This is my fifth Roku, actually. I have 3 LT versions, a Roku 3 and now this one. This one is for my eat-in kitchen. I have no cable in there, but I can use the Roku 2 to stream some of the news channels while I cook. I grabbed a cheap 32" tv from my local big box store, hooked up the Roku 2, and I had CBS News up and running live in about 5 minutes.
This version only has HDMI as a connection option to the TV, which is fine for me. It doesn't have the headphone option on the remote that the Roku 3 has,but I don't need that and never use it on the Roku 3 anyway. Aside from the remote, I haven't noticed a difference between the Roku 2 and my Roku 3.
I haven't had a single issue in the nearly 2 weeks I've had this one. I haven' t had an issue with any of them, two of which I've had for a couple/few years now. A this rate, it won't be long before I can say goodbye to Comcast in the other 4 rooms that have a Roku supplementing my cable subscription.
