Other free channels have been a disappointment in the number of hoops they make you go through to aquire. A lot of their stuff are just short clips such as the Volleyball channel.

Nice features and easy to use

I bought the Roku 2 a few weeks ago after reading a good comparison article on CNET. I've been very happy with it and it was easy to install. Since rdio is no longer a part of the Roku, it's a bit cumbersome to have a button for it on the remote. I'd like to be able to reprogram the button to another channel.

I bought my Roku 2 after 2 different BluRay Players dropped support for Amazon Instant Video and YouTube and decided it was time for a dedicated streaming player.
In addition to the number of available content providers "channels" on Roku, the speed of the device, the video quality and ease of use was a pleasant surprise. I will likely buy another.

I love my roku 2 player. Perfect for my family's needs. The Sling and Netflix buttons make it easy access to watch live TV shows as well as stream movies and sitcoms.

We purchased it with the understanding the channels offered on the flyer, we would be able to get. And you don't. Nor does it tell you, ESPN is extra

This is my 4th roku I have bought. I bought one for my brother and my mom too. It beats paying a huge monthly cable bill
