I was so happy with the ROKU 3 I bought a year ago for the living room TV that I had to have another for my bedroom.

I bought this just before New Year's and enjoyed binge watching Netflix and Sling TV. It was super easy to set up. Make sure that you have the correct speed for internet and you will be ready to go! I also love that you get trial subscriptions to Hulu, Netflix and Sling to see how you like the services. If you are looking to ditch cable, this is the first step in the process. Roku 2 is EXCELLENT!

Not as impressive as advertised.

I've had this for about a month and can only say I am not impressed with it compared to all the claims. Almost all the channels worth anything cost extra. And all the free channels either or have these annoying commercials that play over and over and thrown in at crazy times in the movie. No matter whether it's in the middle of a good scene or not. every time I turn around its loading. Says Facebook is ok to play but it won't. All I've found it good for is watching u tube. And even then I had to downgrade my video signal to Rca jacks so I could use my surround sound. Because the Roku unit only has the hdmi output! Then on top of it all. Having to type all that mess on screen because y'all sent a second rate remote. So one word. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love everything about my Roku!!! I just wish the Facebook Channel would work. It seems like a lot of people are complaining about the same thing....

The Roku 2 is better than the Roku 3.

I have a Roku 2XS, Roku 3 and now the Roku 2. Don't get the Roku 3. Get the Roku 2. It has the almighty 7 second instant relay button. Roku 3 does not. If you want voice search, get the Roku app for your smart phone or tablet. Roku 3 would rock if it had the instant replay button, but it does not.
