I bought a Roku 2 a couple of weeks ago. I am still learning all the features but I am loving it. Alot of free channels and free trials.

I used to use my PS3 for Netflix and Amazon prime until I got tired of the controls and how long it took to start up. I got the Roku and am loving every minute of it! I took advantage of the 3-month trial of Hulu, checked out other free channels and as a result I have tons of new content to watch!

I had a difficult time at first due to the software not able to update because I needed to change my security code with my cable company. And Roku gave me a security code to give to them. But after that it works great.

After 30 years of cable we got Netgear and Roku since basic TV void of intelligent life forms. Like size of remote and layout of buttons.

Bought this after the streamer that came with my TV cut back on their app selection.
They only had 9 to choose from. This product was just what I needed.Huge selection of apps and streaming ability from all devices. I use it to send my home videos and photos to my large screen TV for family viewing. I've added music to some and made it a viewing experience.

GOOD SELECTION, CONSTANTLY BEING ADDED TO. ALSO ACCESS TO PRIVATE CHANNELS, JUST GOOGLE 'ROKU PRIVATE CAHNNELS'. ADD THEM VIA YOUR COMPUTER IN YOUR ROKU ADMIN ACCOUNT. HAVE FUN.
