I own a Roku 3 and a Roku stick. I wanted another player for a bedroom and the Roku 2 was a great deal since it has the same processor as the Roku 3 without the extras such as headphones and gaming options. It works great and I love Roku products. The HD quality video is better than what we get on our satellite service.

Easy to Install

I bought the Roku 2 only because I wanted to stream Pure Flix and there aren't many devices out there that are supported for that. It was easy to install, took only about 5 min to get it set up. So far it seems to be working all right except when I am streaming some movies they freeze up and the message comes on the screen that says "loading". I never had this problem with the other device that I was using to stream with, the (Playstation 3). The other thing that I don't like about it is that the remote does not have any volume buttons or mute on it, you still need your tv remote to adjust the volume. If Playstation ever becomes a supported software for Pure Flix, I will be using it again.

Cut the Cable

I installed a roof top antenaa and 2 Roku 2's, then called the to disconnect the cable. I stream Netflix and Hulu and watch local channels and save $90 a month. Don't miss it at all.

Easy Use and Great Interface!

The unit sets up easily and works flawlessly. I would recommend Roku to everyone. The navigation is so easy and responsive compared to a lot of Smart TV's with built in streaming features.
