Bought two Roku 2's to convert house to Stream

I bought 2 of these. One came with a bad power cord which was very annoying. After I fixed the problem though, I have been super happy. Low cost product, that is very easy to use and very fast. Can't wait to say goodbye to cable!

Easy to use

I purchased the Amazon Fire Stick and had buffering problems. Kept telling me my router was bad but everything I own was on the Internet. I looked at reviews and saw that Roku was well liked so I figured for what I needed and the price that a Roku 2 was best for me. Easy to set up. Love the Netflix & Amazon buttons on the remote. Have not had one single problem so far. Much better than the Fire Stick by far.

keeps losing signals and needs rebooting

I've had to reboot both of my Roku 2s at least 1-2 times a day because they lose signals. And I even installed a wireless booster. I've only had them for one week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a fantastic little box!!

Having installed many items in my home, TV's, bluray players, game consoles, routers, modems,etc etc etc... I can honestly say this was the easiest and most straightforward install ever!...I also love the graphics and the remote feels nice and is well made. I needed to be able to stream to my one TV that isn't so 'smart' and this is my solution. Although I already subscribe to some of the channels offered, I was able to take advantage of many of the free 30 day trials offered through ROKU..
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for Sling TV

I am a recent subscriber to Sling TV. The streaming through my laptop was a little suspect. The audio was out of sync and occasionally the video would randomly move at double time. Connecting to my Roku II player made all the difference. Now it seems as if I am watching the games on cable.

HAVE HAD ABOUT MONTH, FORMAT FOR SOME APPS I HAD ON MY COMPUTER ARE NOT AS EASY TO USE WOULD LIKE THEM THE SAME. BUT ALL IN ALL I LIKE
