Fast video streamer

I changed from a fire stick to a roku 2.
Pros: fast, really fast, it was like night and day. Plus tons of more useful apps. All the apps work perfectly.
Cons: the Amazon app is a little cluttered and it doesn't remember the most recent things I've watch. The Hulu app doesn't have the icon "new" on the shows I watch that have new episodes which means I have to click on the show to see if there's a new episode.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great access to shows

Received the Roku 2 as a Christmas present, as I am a big fan of old tv shows and movies, especially horror & westerns. Still trying to figure everything out and find all the channels. Have seen comments that some channels listed as free might charge after first month.

Endless choices

We chose a non smart tv and got the roku unit for Christmas. I'm glad we saved the money, the tv now does everything we need it to.

Easy to set up

I bought this as a gift for a family member as an addition to the Roku 3 we already have setup in our living room. It was easy to set it up and so far I can find very few differences between my Roku 3 and this Roku 2. The only noticeable difference to me is that the Roku 2 remote doesn't have a lanyard. I'd recommend the Roku 2.
