Happy with Roku

I have had my Roku for about a week and have cancelled my Dish Network. I am happy with the versatility and features of the Roku. The number of and variety of channels ensures that there is always something good to watch. My only complaint is a coax output in addition to the HDMI would be useful in hooking up a second TV. This is a minor issue however and will not negatively affect my satisfaction with Roku.

Great Device

So far, so good! I received this as a Christmas gift from my son and, so far, it has been the best gift I have received in years. I did not realize that there was so much stuff to watch on the internet! My wife and I were really getting disgusted with our cable TV fare; we get maybe 300+ channels and probably watch no more than 15! Since we got the Roku, we watch a different movie each night, that we want to watch! we are still climbing the learning curve but getting there. We are giving serious thought to reducing our cable channels to basic HD. Great product!

Really like the ease of operation; I can't get any help in stopping play of an episode I'm watching that I've already seen. Can't find or get an answer to "how" question!

Roku 2 and 3

We have both a Roku 2 and a Roku 3 (purchased at same time) and could not be happier. Both are easy to install and easy to use. Offers all the channels we want. Replaced our cable service completely and we haven't missed it one iota.

Good streaming player

I've been buying Different models for years, and it is a good player in general, but has some problems. Main problem for Roku 2 ans 3 models is that when connected via HDMI to some TV models, the video disappears and you see only blue screen, but there is still audio. Many different types of HDMI cables have been tried with no success. Another drawback is a removal of A/V output.

I've had my Roku 2 for a little over 2 weeks and couldn't be happier. I had a few "mis-steps" at first (e.g., not sure which key to hit on the controller), but I quickly learned how to navigate using the controller and now we just watch show after show, enjoying the exceptional quality picture we get. Love the product!!
