So far, so good

I was contemplating another Google Chromecast, but my wife wanted something that had a remote to use instead of a smart device. This was only marginally more expensive than the Chromecast and it has more features. So far, I like it. The online setup was not that easy using my phone, so I had to pull it up on laptop where it seemed to function fine. Even though there is an app for this product so you can cast from your smart device, everything seems to be web based, not app based, so it doesn't go as smoothly through your phone. I am still exploring the device, but it looks good and works well.

Just what i needed

Other products I reviewed did not have as many features or chsnnels. Performance is good. Remote contoller is a little small for my hand but all the functions easily copied to my univrrsal remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible instructions and no idea of how it works. After 8 hours of talking to their awesome staff via live chat, I finally got it working. You have to figure out a lot on your own and I still can't get my pictures from my computer to show. I do like the free movies and the fact I can watch my Netflix now on TV.

I have this attached to a smart TV and I use it all the time instead of the features built into my TV.

Roku loads too many pay-to-view channels

Roku provides a great way to access the many video channels available on the Internet. The only thing I didn't like was that they automatically loaded many pay-to-view channels that I did not want on my home page. I had to spend several minutes deleting the unwanted channels.
