Great Value, Exceeded Expectations

Purchased a few weeks ago after my TV no longer connected properly via thunderbolt/HDMI to my MacBook Pro. Quality of the video exceeded expectations, variety of apps is excellent, search option is very helpful and unbiased, and have not experienced any lag in the streaming. (I use a private network Wi-Fi built for large households.) Would have gotten the Roku 3 but the extra features (gaming and private listening) of the third generation were not as important to me. Roku 2 suits my needs perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought Roku as a gift for my husband for Christmas. It was quite easy to install and we have enjoyed it immensely in the past couple of weeks.

Simple and efficient

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He is faaar from tech savvy, but installation was easy and he can navigate the system with ease. We are still figuring out what's free and we've had to be more open to new TV shows. Overall happy with purchase!

Since buying my first Roku I have added 2 more to my network. Since I am hearing impaired I do enjoy the earphone feature. The selection of channels more than enough for my family. One improvement for me would be for the TV mute to work independently from the Roku remote.
