I only pay for netflix and searched for free channels, up to now I have 42 free channels that I chose to keep but there is still more if I want to.
This is the end of cable! No more bills... Im happy, this is paradise!

Cable Cutting Finally Complete

We cut our cable a couple years ago, and have subscribed to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime ever since. We also bought an antenna to receive local HDTV broadcasts of the major networks. Still, something was missing. For me it was ESPN, and for my wife, it was HGTV. Our Roku 2 allows us to get Sling TV, where we get our favorite networks. Now we don't miss cable AT ALL!

Disappointed. Just got back from vacation only to find I am too late to take advantage of my 3 free options promised with the purchase. Missed it by one day.

Goodbye Buffering

We had been using three old Roku XD players and as the upgrades have continued they started getting less reliable and able to keep up. We built a new house and wired everything for ethernet so we decided to try a Roku with an ethernet port. This was the best decision ever. Using the Roku 2 on the single tv we've installed it on so far has been a dream. It's snappier and with a wired connection has almost no buffering. I'd highly recommend the Roku 2.
