I gave cable the boot and went with the Roku. It was easy to set up and it is easy to navigate. I would recommend this to anyone who is ready to take the plunge into giving up cable/satellite.

Old ROKU 2 worked better

Replacing a old ROKU 2 that was failing. The wifi capability of the old unit was better. The new one kept loosing the signal. Had to hard wire the new unit to the router. The new Netflix interface is more difficult to use compared to the old.

Does not work with wifi

My Roku 2 box only works via Ethernet. The Wi-Fi connection is good and it recognizes my network but will not stream content unless I have it hooked up to my modem via Ethernet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the device, adore the mobile app that makes your phone a remote, but was disappointed that it didn't come with the 3 month free Hulu trial that they said it did.

This is great for those who don't have a smart TV. You can watch movies and old series to catch up. Works great with my amazon prime.
