I bought the Roku 2 as a third Roku for our home. Now our family can watch other programming on multiple TV's

i had a hard time setting up the roku and after it was setup i had to unplug it each time i used it and plug it back in after 20 seconds. afteri plugged it back in it would say i was not connected to wifi and i had to put my code i again. i switched it to a different tv and it works ok. i am using amazon firestik for the original tv.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought our second unit as result of having to leave first in home we sold. Customer service helpful to turn off remotely.
Second seems to run better and does auto start programs more reliably than first. Enjoying it's operation much more thane first.

The roku has all the streaming apps you are looking for. Anything from Netflix to YouTube to Pandora. You can't ask for a better streaming device than the roku.

Convenient

I got this as a Christmas gift and now wished I'd bought it myself months ago. I was using a laptop connected to my TV to go Hulu, Netflix, and the network sites. The Roku 2 makes it so much easier with a all the site on one page and if I search for something it'll list all the options to view from. No more repeating the same search on different sites for me!
