Works smoothly and quickly

A friend had gave me an old blue ray player to stream with after I finally got high speed internet in my area. It was slow to load but worked but I could not use the different id's on Netflix either. I bought the Roku 2 since I saw you could do that with it. I am so glad I did. The streaming is so much quicker and smoother. I really like it. The only complaint is no off button. When I'm not using something I like to turn it off. This goes to sleep but I have to unplug it to really turn it off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got this as part of a cable tv package. When playing a tv show or movie if you want to back up or go forward it is not a steady streaming. Instead you must pick a scene to go to and in many cases the download would not complete unless I closed ROKU down and reopened. Think it has something to do with cable provider but it is not much use to me as is.

Great alternative to cable--Very Pleased

I got rid of cable and am using the Roku player to stream content from Netflix, HBO Now, Hulu and more. Very easy to setup and use. Clean, fast, and easy interface. All in a great little package.

We have had our Roku for a week and are still amazed at the options available to us. We are definitely dropping our satellite provider as we can access virtually everything we want to watch. A new attic antenna allows us to pick up all local channels, so it's a win-win for our family!!! We're saving $114 per month!!!

Got this about a month ago and it has completely negated my ps3, which my boyfriend still uses to game but I only ever used it for tv/movies. Roku is awesome I love how it shows you where you can get the movie you want to watch for the cheapest
