I bought this about two weeks ago and so far it is the best. I don't regret buying this at all and it is saving me a lot of money because I don't need cable anymore.

Easy to figure out and use

Everything was simple to set up and use. We don't have cable access in our bedroom so this gives us access to entertainment.

This is the best purchase we have made. Streaming Netflix is easier than ever. Plus the Roku comes with lots of free channels! Totally worth the purchase!

We purchased our Roku about two weeks ago. I put it on a tv in a room with no cable outlet. With wifi and cable I can get all the cable channels that I have from the room with the box to the room with no cable outlet. Best purchase I have ever made!!

My oldest twin suggested that we buy a Roku 2 to enhance our tv viewing as well as the easy interface to stream videos from laptop. Product works great and we feel, a great value for the money.

Good purchase, but some design problems.

I am happy to have it. There is only one minor design problem with the box itself... The LED light on the front of device which is always faced to you, is too big and too bright. On my previous ROKU2 model it was much better: visible, functional and not not too bright. I have a feeling, that it is super bright flashlight in a front of me. It is not good for my poor vision as well. I tried to turn my Roku 90 degree, but remote control stopped working. Looks, that it is not radio type, but IR type again. It is unpleasant, but minor problem, I found on this model. The streaming performance is better than on my older model. The remote control on that model is worse than my previous. All major control buttons are too small and not easy to find them without light, but instead, it has 4 huge new buttons, for direct access to services, I personally, prefer do not use. So, they took 50% of whole remote surface. It is not comfortable. They should be smaller and programmable for different channels. It will give users more freedom to choose channels THEY want.

It Works For Me

I wanted to be able to stream movies on my TV without the problems I've been having with my blu-ray player. So far, my new Roku works great!
