Well respected product and manufacturer.
Product function is commendable.
Rich in functions.
Guidance about what capabilities/functions are available is missing.
Major missing component from the package box: a "Beginners Users Guide" manual or a pointer to a website where a user can download from and print such manual.

Perhaps engineers think that customers have friends and relatives that know how to educate new user of ROKU-2 box ?

Fantastic ease of use and balance of features

I am 3 weeks into my Roku2 use and could not be happier. The Roku2 is a perfect starter hardware platform for anyone who is looking to cut the cable cord like I have. My wife and I are very pleased with the availability of content and the quality of it.

Bought this player the Friday before the recent big snow storm. Want options for when the time comes to cut the cord. Installed it in my office where I had previously only off air channels. Now I have options...

The wife and I don't watch a lot of TV so we don't subscribe and have an antenna. We added the Roku and now we can have movie night whenever we want....Thanks Roku!

Love the Convenience

For the most part, I love this little box. The ONE and ONLY thing I do not like is that there is no way on the remote to switch between regular TV and the Roku. I have to get up and plug it in to use it, and unplug it to see regular TV. I've been weighing losing my cable, but with all the subscription prices adding up, not sure I'd be saving any money? But it's great to be able to watch Netflix, et.al., while not tethered to my tablet anymore.
