Roku is the best

I have had the Roku and the firestick. Hand down, the Roku far surpasses the Firestick. The remote is better with larger buttons and and easier user interface. The Roku streams perfect and fast. The firestick lagged, even with the modem next to it. The Roku screen is easier to navigate. Overall a great product!!

I purchased this in an effort to reduce my cable TV expense which has become out of control. It took me several months before I had time to actual set it up and start my experience. It took a little more effort than what the instructions that cam ewith unit indicated. Best tip here is to go online and search for Roku set up instructions and tips. Once I did have it set up correctly it was fairly easy to use and I am enjoying some free previews now. Hopefully I can fully "cut the cord" here in the near future.

Setup my 4k ultra Hd Tv only to learn LG Web 2.0 OS isn't compatible with most of the apps I use. Roku is awesome without this I would've returned my tv for a Roku Tv. Compatible with endless Apps. Defintely recommend this, well worth the money.

Great Speed; Easy Navigation

Love my Roku 2. All the apps are easy to download and navigate through. Loading time is minimal and I never have any problems. Set up is a breeze and I love how compact the device is. The only thing I'd like to see is buttons on the remote I can pre-program myself for shortcuts to specific channels.

I have only had this for 1 month. I purchased it for my bedroom. I do not have a smart tv in this room and wanted to be able to watch Netflix. I am also discovering free channels. So far this does exactly what it was purchased to do and more.
