I bought my Roku 2 three weeks ago, am enjoying my free trials of Netflix and Hulu; very good picture and performance.

6th Roku Purchase

We have had 3 Rokus in our home for years, no cable and cannot receive tv signals via antenna in our rural area. We all think Roku watching is excellent. We subscribe to Hulu, Netflix, Amazon and occasionally HBONOW, saving at least $100 a month and watching 90% of what we would watch with cable. Roku has hundreds of channels I haven't investigated yet! So impressed with Roku I have bought two as gifts. Recently another family member moved back to the house so I bought the 6th Roku for their tv. For us, the Roku 2 fits our needs; while the Roku 3 has some nice features, it isn't worth the extra price; the Roku Stick seems like it would be convenient, and less expensive, but the reviews throughout the internet made me stick with the Roku 2. My years of experience with Roku have been positive, the only way we will go to watch programs.

Great entertainment

I've had my roku for over 2 years. I use it every day . I've also got an Apple TV. I like the roku better because of the hundreds of channels that Apple doesn't offer. Plus, it was a lot cheaper to purchase. My wife and I love our roku.

Roku 2 will worth the money. Easy to use. Streaming movies is great. Stays connected to WIFI signal with no interruptions.

Easy to use

Have only had about 2 weeks and so far I am enjoying it. My only issue is when I change my tv to the antenna, I have to disconnect the roku power cord to be able to get some local channels. Otherwise I would give it 5 overall stars.

Requires a credit card for setup. Requires purchase of multiple subscriptions. USB and SD spots only write, not read.

This item was suggested to me by my cable provider. My only real complaint is that I cannot just type in a channel number. No number pad!
