Like LT better

I like the LT interface better. Netflix does not show "my list" with this player and it auto plays shows when you are trying to search. It's annoying. The front light is really bright so it's annoying if you have it in your bedroom. i also wish there was an easy ROKU app to use to mirror your mobile device and computer. From what I can tell, you have to go out and get a 3rd party app to accomplish that and it's clunky. tge player itself runs dependably like all ROKU devices. Not sure, though, what I got out of upgrading. I should have saved $20 & gotten another LT.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a difference!

I have been streaming through my DVD player, and was not satisfied with the performance. After reading about the ROKU 2 decided to give it a try. I am very happy with this product. I get a much better picture quality, much faster switching between videos, and much better menus. My only negative comment has to do with subtitles. With my DVD streaming, turning the close-captioning on and off was a one-button operation, and it is much more complicated with the ROKU. Otherwise, I am thrilled.

bought this a month or so ago, still learning how to use it.
Don't care for all the ad's as They aren't applicable to me.
Nor would I find my self purchasing such just because of the advertising.
In fact I find ads turning me off of said product.

My 18 year old son told me that we should get roku because it is less expensive and you get a bunch more channels. well he is a smart kiddo because it is fabulous.
