A lot of problems

I have had the ROKU 2 for about 2 years. I don't know if all video streamers have problems, but here's a list of the ones I've been experiencing: Unit freezes up and has to be re-booted about 3 or 4 times a week (and it's not the batteries in the remote). It stopped receiving my WiFi signal so now I have to run an ethernet cable to it from my office to the living room. It will occasionally reboot itself in the middle of a program. Naturally, the warranty has run out so I have to go buy something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very easy to set up. Picture Quality is excellent. Lots of old movies as expected. A few from 2015 but most are several years to many years old. Anything recent or any major channels you can expect pay extra monthly fees. Overall, not bad for me because my wife and I watch a lot of movies. Would be nice if you could search out by theme instead of searching through hundreds of movies each time you want to turn it on.

I bought this a few weeks ago and i love it. So glad to finally be able to watch netflix on my tv and i enjoy all of the free streaming channels!

This unit is a great improvement over the one we replaced that was about 3 years old. It's fast and not blurry like our other one was when a show would first start

This is an inexpensive gadget that is small and does not take up much space. Allows you to watch shows in HD. There are many channel apps to choose from- just depends on what you want to pay for (There is ALOT of free content). I was using the apps on my blu ray player but the ROKU gives you HD and a better experience.
