I bought this updated Roku 2 to replace my old Roku 2 XD because I was having problems with streaming constantly cutting out and reloading. I can't see any difference between this newer faster version than my old XD as this one also drops streaming and reloading. Yes I have high speed internet. I think it's a performance issue on Roku servers especially with the CBS app.I don't like that movies automatically stream before you even hit play and nothing in the settings will change this. I understand this is a new feature but it is annoying. All I can say is it still remains
more watchable than trying to stream with Chromecast.

Affordable TV

I bought this after some hesitation, very glad I did. Haven't had cable in some time,just too costly, this is a cheap and easy way to get some of what i was missing. Not all channels are available without a subscription, but still way cheaper than what i was paying previously!

The ROKU 2 is so easy to use. It's better than a SMARTTV for connectivity. The headphone feature is convenient and works well.

I got this a few weeks ago so there is still a lot I don't know. I like that all kinds of programs are on it Netflix sling TV Pandora Spotify. The one thing I would have done differently is add all free channels because I have found that even free ones I am not signed up for gives you some options of things to watch. I also like that it emails me for special things such as the Super Bowl is going to be on CBS sports for free .

I love my roku. It has great features and is an easy way to stream my videos. My only complaint would be that every time I go to use Netflix I have to restart my player because the screen says content unavailable. Just a minor inconvenience.
