So glad we purchased this. We have most of the channels that we want and for way less expensive and I am sure once we have the time to explore more we will find the ones we are missing.

Roku 2 Vast Improvement!

I have owned one of the first generation of Roku devices for many years now, amazingly it is still operational and that led to my decision to buy a second Roku for a different TV. Just overall, a great little device that will enhance anyone's television experience. I personally prefer separating my TV functionality in the event of failure with built-in products. The Roku 2 is a superb product and I would highly recommend it!

Quick loading streamer!

We got our Roku 2 to replace an old one. Was pleasantly surprised on how quick it loaded everything! Plus transferring all my channels over was a snap.

Cutting the cable cord for good!

My new year's resolution was to stop paying a fortune for hundreds of cable TV stations when I only watched a handful. Besides being a streaming platform for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. Roku itself offers hundreds of free channels (but most are not worthwhile), however there are add-on options for streaming limited cable contents (Food Network, AMC, A&E and more) available from providers like “Sling TV” for a nominal fee. Unlike Apple TV, Google or Amazon, Roku does not have a vested interest in promoting content from a specific source. This gives Roku the freedom of impartial programming.

Very nice for anyone without a smart tv. Going tomorrow and buying a Sharp Roku TV. Eventually cutting the cord to satellite TV.
