Don,t assume everyone loves playing with computer technology. Simplify, simplify, simplify! Example: USA Network. Why can,t I click "ON" or click it "REMOVE" like most of the rest of your associated TV network selection? I'm asked to go to usanetwork.com/roku with an activation code (provided), my wireless company's name, e-mail address, password (whose password, mine or theirs?). In my humble opinion, with those entities of which Roku is associated, all this stuff should be already prepped for the customer and ready-to-go with the single click "ON." PBS was similar, but I navigated set-up more easily--it was more straightforward. In the meanwhile, USA Network is having one less( frustrated) potential viewer...and how many more? It's been said, "One voice represents ten more that don't speak up." I would really appreciate more live local news and get the major networks on-board as streaming TV is not just the future, it's already here now! I would like more ice hockey and more college sports. Cable and their ever upward creeping prices: I finally said, " Enough! Get thee begone! And good riddance, too!"
Now the positive: I'm really enjoying it. So much selection. I like SlingTV...Rachel at SlingTV was great to work with via the telephone. She got me going with Roku in the first place. We spent a lot of quality time together as I unknowingly navigated Windows 10whatever, and she made it all work for me, Thanx! Rachel at SlingTV. NewsOn, Pluto, FilmRise, YouTube, and so much more, it's all great fun. Over all Roku is a good choice now, and I believe even a better choice in the future, as I learn how to better use it. The dollars per value sure beats my previous long-time caustic relationship with The Cable Company Umbilical Attachment, Inc. with their Pay-Through-the-Nose-Per-View attitude. I have the Roku 3 and got the Roku 2 free by subscribing to Sling TV. I do notice that is streams a little slower than the Roku 3. Other than the slower speed, it works great. I am very happy with the selection I am able to stream on my Roku.

I purchased this about 2-weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. We had previously been using a Nintendo Wii without ethernet capabilities to view a very limited group of programming including Netflix. The user interface with the Roku, the availability of almost an unlimited programming group and the ease of access were the deciding factors for me. I couldn't be happier with this device.

I got this to replace an old setup I had & I'm glad I did, this Roku 2 is great, streams movies like your at the movies! I would recommend this to anyone.

Upgrade From Roku 1 to Roku 2!!

What a difference, for a relatively small difference in cost, when I upgraded from a Roku 1 to a Roku 2. My more aesthetic screen/display, and much easier to browse and search for your shows/movies. I'm very pleased with the Roku 2!

Upgraded from the streaming stick to the Roku 2. Much faster. Good picture quality. Also purchased the Roku mount for my TV which I am also very satisfied with.

Great selection of free channels

We are on fixed income, cost for cable and satellite TV has gotten ridiculous!! This is a cost effective way for us to go and still enjoy TV.
