the end of mindless television!

i did a little research on streaming tv and ordered the roku. when it arrived i set it up and couldnt go to bed. the channels are outstanding. i cancelled my cable the next morning. its been two weeks and i still cant believe how great the roku is

We got one for our son since the wireless card in his bluray player was dying, and it is very easy for him to use (hes 5) and very fast, never any buffering.

I bought this with the hope of cutting my cable, instead I've found that much of the content I want I still need cable for. Many of the "free" channels I'm finding still require some sort of cable account. The other free channels seem to be loaded with a bunch of programs that are questionable at best. I'm sure I need to use it more to understand it better but 2 weeks into my purchase I'm kin of wishing I would have bought Apple TV

Love the speed and performance

Received a new Roku 2 upon pre-paying for three months of Sling TV service. I've owned the Roku HD and LT models, both of which I've liked. The 2 is a fantastic upgrade from those models. The obvious improvement I see is in the processing speed and overall performance of the 2. Much quicker searching, browsing, and then loading of content to watch across different services (Netflix, Amazon video, Sling). I have my new Roku 2 connected directly to my Internet router via ethernet. Will most likely end up getting another one soon.

Awesome Purchase

I felt with the cable company charging me high prices. For a service that never worked correctly. They keep sending techs out to band aid the problem. Cancelled my cable and bout this. The best money I have ever spent. Great shows easy set up and better quality tv then any cable company.
