Nice mid-product option

Bought this as a 'not-so-expensive' option, and I really, really like it. The only recommendations I have:
- More clearly mark that the remote is 'directional' and requires pointing. I'm used to a Roku3, so I just needed to 'retrain' myself on that. (an acceptable compromise at the price point).
- The remote 'hard butons' need to be updated. Referencing a streaming service that's no longer available looks bad.

Easy to Use & Plenty of Features

I had the original Roku for years and loved it. I bought the Amazon Fire Stick thinking it would be an upgrade but it would not stay connected to the internet so I went back and bought the Roku 2 and it has worked perfectly. Fast load times and and an extremely easy to use interface. I love the smartphone app to use my phone as a remote as well. I'm sure the the 3 & 4 have more features but this one is perfect for my simple taste.

After receiving the unit, it only took no more than 2 minutes to set up. Then started to enjoy all the programs provided.

DIRECT LIK BUTTONS

Enjoy the service but was wondering if the quick access buttons can be reprogrammed. THE RDIO function is no longer available.

Easy to setup and use. So many apps make cord cutting EASY. But if you do have cable you can use it to watch cable on TVs that don't have boxes.

I have both the Roku 3 and now the Roku 2. The only difference is the remote control. I prefer the point-anywhere remote on the Roku 3. The Roku 2 remote needs a clear direct line of sight. So, be careful of its placement. This can be annoying. Otherwise, we love our Roku 2 and 3.
