We had the Roku 1 for a year, decided to get the Roku 2 because of better picture, better wifi, ect. Wow, what a great pick. I will defiinitely recommend the Roku 2. Dont bother with the streaming stick, as I heard that isn't very good, as well, if you want good wifi connection with your internet router, Roku 2 is the best way to go, I love the great clarity of the tv now.

We bought a Roku last week to use instead of our normal cable box and it's saving us from the cable box rental fee each month from the cable company. Plus I like the Roku GUI better than the cable company's anyway.

Better than the rest

So far, the Roku is my third streaming device. My wife, who cares very little about technology, loves the Roku 2. The user-interface is what won her over. This this rocks! My only gripe is that the device software doesn't allow for the bright white LED to be turned off.

love the apps

My daughter talked into buying the ROKU instead of paying monthly for an additional cable box. Not only can she watch all of her cable channels, but she can utilize many other apps.
