I wanted to maximize my streaming capability and chose Roku because of the great reviews by other owners and the reasonable price. It has opened up my entertainment world by enabling me to access TV shows and movies as well as news programs that are not available on standard TV or cable. Easy to install and use. I am able to easily flip between my TV and Roku by using an HDMI pigtail switch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the product and I just wish there were some free apps not premium and I love to use it everyday though.

I went to one "major" electronics chain who tried to stear me to purchase a different device. I already did my homework on Roku. A few of my friends have one and never had a bad thing to say. I enjoy my device. Set up was simple, awesome quality. Options are what I was looking for. I do not miss my satelite bill one bit.

I'AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE POWER LIGHT THAT BEAMS IN MY FACE ALL NIGHT UNLESS I ACTUALLY COVER IT. IS THERE A CHANCE IN THE FUTURE TO MANUFACTURE A UNIT THAT YOU CAN ADJUST THE LIGHTING OR MAKE IT MUCH DIMMER?

I bought this for the TV my wife uses. It worked on my projector but I didn't need it there. I couldn't make it work on that TV and neither could anyone else. It kept saying no signal. We tried my friends Roku on that TV and it worked just fine. I gave it to my son and I bought a blue ray player that also has Netflix. That system worked just fine.
