just another expensive way to watch

free apps aren't great, by time we add cost to join full service apps we may as well stay with FIOS....slow to load up....description of shows and search parameters suck on the free apps

Loads Fast

We have an original Roku stick which we really liked. When we needed to purchase another one for a different TV, I discovered the Roku 2. We noticed a big improvement in the loading speed. It has inspired us to abandon our cable service entirely and go all streaming media!

Bought this 2 weeks ago, and it's so nice to able to watch so.e of my shows in real time! And a huge variety of programming! The only problem I have is that the remote doesn't work well.

Very good; a couple of limitations

The title input is outdated. It s/b telephone-style, so that the user does not have to navigate all over an A-Z "keyboard."
Once you do the work, the Roku search is powerful.
Excess buffering occurs from time to time; I'm still investigating that.
This is a Roku 2 which I chose for its vaunted superior reception.
