We bought the Roku to stream Netflix and Sling because we found ourselves spending way too much on Direct TV. The Roku offers more than we expected!

I love everything about the Roku and wish I bought one sooner. I'm mainly using it for Sling tv and Netflix. However I'll say though it's probably no fault of Roku but more my dsl broadband with 12mbps download speed, that while Sling tv seems to work fine at 1080p, my Netflix does vary quite a bit bttn 280p to 1080p and that picture quality is pretty inconsistent. So that's something to think about. But the only other thing that bothered me is that Roku can go into a standby mode but I do wish it had a power button on the remote and on the unit itself. I'd rather just turn it off when not in use to save on power. All that aside the Roku is helping me save money on everything I love, so it's doing exactly what I purchased it for!

So my home TV took a powder and I wanted to watch tv and found this little gem!! It super easy to set up and even easier to use!! The only thing I would improve is a power button on the remote. Other than that it's AWESOME!!!

Watch What You Like On Schedule

I love my Roku 2 because I can watch what I like on my schedule not the networks or channel schedule and I don't have to buy a smart t.v. to have it. Now we need internet access that doesn't indirectly penalized us for cutting the cord.

My son gifted me with my Roku over a month ago. I dislike cable television since there seems to be so little to watch at the times I watch TV. With Roku I shop what I want to watch and watch when I want to watch. Also, I love listening to music with it through Pandora. I love it!
