it is so much faster than the roku 1 and it seems there are more choices available that werent before! especially the history channel however i will say the new netflix is a little more challenging to navigate, we just have to get used to it

I love this unit it has everything you need only con is that you cant turn it off unlike the stick that turns off and on with the tv and hdmi

We are very happy with this product. Easy to install, easy to use, with included remote. Make sure to buy an hdmi cable, or have one available. This is needed and is not included. Able to access every tv and movie watching option that we wanted to (Vudu, Netflix, Disney, PBS, Nick, HGTV, Food network, History, FX, Fox news, Weather underground,etc), with the exception of local channels. If we had been able to access local channels with it, we would have zero need for cable. Love it. Did have to buy a wifi booster for my living room, to help with buffering during movies, but we had been planning on getting one of these anyway, to better the wifi reception in that part of our house, in general, for cell phone, etc.

We have had our unit for about a month, and the entire family lives it. Easy to set up, easy to navigate, and has a great selection of programs for each member of our family.

Love streaming

I bought Roku 2 & love it. There's free channels, but you have to remember that it is streaming from the internet. However, we have found out, that if you pause it, it will still buffer, but now you have more time to watch without it buffering. With that said, Netflix doesn't buffer during ANY show or movie. It's very nice. You can pause, rewind, just like a dvr. I haven't used the fast-forward feature.

Got What I Expected

Bought this a few weeks ago and will say I am well on my way to cutting the cable. I was not sure if I was going to use this as an add on or a replacement but I must say it has definitely proven to be a replacement for cable.
