Horrible playback

I have great internet but the roku2 lags, stops, freezes up constantly. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone

We bought it mainly to watch basketball games that are online only. Half of the time it won't pull up at all and the rest it's fuzzy.

Remote is awful

I bought this roku box for my son. Every time he tries to watch it, it takes over 10 minutes before the remote control responds. I've tried looking on the website, but none of the solutions work. Very frustrating because once the remote finally starts to work, my son really enjoys the product. It would be nice if a phone number were included in the instruction manual so that when online help fails the customer can speak to someone and maybe get some resolution to the problem. If this problem were not ocurring I would give the product a better review.

I bought this for one reason, to watch the Blaze TV. Spend all my time cycling power and waiting for it to buffer. BTW my internet speed is fine!

Purchased the Roku 2 as a splurge for my fiancé and myself. Easy set up, however it would only let us watch the first half of any movie we picked, and everything worth watching needed a separate subscription. The streaming was mediocre, at best. I thought it may have been our internet, so I switched to the PS3 to see if my assumption was correct. Wouldn't you know it, smooth streaming on the gaming system the entire night. Brought the Roku back the next day and received a full refund.

I don't like having to sign up for the different stations so I basically use for netflix and my Chromecast worked just fine for that. On the Roku 2 every time I go to Netflix I have to agree to terms of service. I don't have to do that on chromecast. The font on the screen is too small for vision challenged people such as myself. I don't like having to scroll through each letter to enter something in the search or the password for that matter. Last but not least you can't turn it off so its using more electricity and there's that white light shining all night.

Start up page always suggests a movie they evidently want you to watch. Menus are much more confusing than previous versions. Sorry I bought it.
