I am excited to have this item i am just trying to figure it out still i do like all the features so far but feel i am under using it due to lack of knowledge on my part.

I bought this because my niece highly recommended it, that I would no longer need to have a cable bill just internet...Well that's a crock, you still need cable for some apps and I have a smart TV so it basically has all the same things and I don't need to download and register to every app to use it...PLUS YOUR CHARGED for some apps as well....Needless to say I'M RETURNING IT!

No streaming capability through wifi

I can't get any devices to recognize the Roku through my wifi network which means I can't stream from my phones or other devices. Oh well, guess I'll get a Apple TV.

I just bought mine still trying to figure out how what the free channels are and if channel 8 has a live streaming. I miss watching wtnh news.

Purposeful Confusion

No free channel list. I don't have time to make a selection and give credit card number for each feature (multiple times) BEFORE finding out if a fee is involved..over and over again. So, I don't really know what I've paid for upfront. I'll be returning Roku 3 today. Sales guy accidentally misrepresented HD ability.
