Superb Streaming Player

I already had a Roku 2 XS. The newer model Roku 2 is faster and has casting features that the original did not. This is a huge improvement. I'm very happy to own the new Roku 2.

I bought the Roku 2 approx. 2 weeks ago. I'm not impressed.
The signal continuously drops and I am unable to use the device even though the connection status reads excellent. I have only been able to use the Roku2 2 days out of the 14 I have had it installed.

I bought this roku 2 a few weeks ago and it is great. I'm not a stranger to roku, I've purchased one of the first roku 2's a long time ago and it served me very well. Like me though it got old and tired and needed to retire. I am quite happy with this newer, faster version.

Great, when it works.

I've had this a few weeks now and am slightly disappointed. Maybe 15-20 percent of the time I go to watch a program I get an error message. I've even received error messages in the middle of a program and have to abandon it. Quite frustrating. I got it mostly for Sling TV and MLB package. Since MLB hasn't started, I don't know how well it will work with the Roku 2. The problem has been with other channels also, so it is not just the problem of Sling TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got it with pre-paying for Sling TV for 3 months. I had so many issues with Sling on my XBOX One. I seen this deal after I had unsubscribed. Had to try it out because of other people who said Sling works fine for them. They were right! Sling works great. There are so many channels to select from. I love this thing! I've had my XBOX One unplugged since I got it.
