Easy setup!!

Did a lot of research on what I should purchase in order to be able to watch Hulu, Netflix and other channels. Roku got raving reviews. I myself love it also. It's so easy to setup and use.

Good Way to get TV by cutting cable.

I bought ROKU2 approximately a week ago after my cable bill doubled in price. (I bought the ROKU2 and a digital Antenna for the price of 1 month of cable). If you don't mind watching delayed shows it's great. Several down sides 1) many of the channels programs/movies are locked unless you have a cable subscription.??? 2) You have to hunt through the channel to find your program. 3) many of the free movies offered through ROKU channels are B Rated. 4) If you like live cable news channels this is not for you. On the UP Side: 1) I like watching college basketball games and sports on ESPN though delayed. 2) You can choose which program you want to watch and when you want to watch. 3) You can come back to it later. 4)You can subscribe to several tv/movie providers NETFLIX, SLING etc for a monthly fee. I may end up trying SLING TV to see how that goes.
OVERALL: ROKU2 is easy to set up, easy to use, and allows you to choose what channels you want. I am still getting used to it. It beats having to pay the cable company for 150 channels when I only watch 10!

Roku has a great variety of options, size wise, and for the best price. It was a fast set up. Its super easy to use. Great channel options to download. Recommend it over other products. 10/10

Simple set up

I bought 6 months ago and took the product back as it would not communicate with the wifi. Sort of turned me off to streaming. Took a chance and bought another unit. So far so good except .... on occasion it will go mute by itself. If I pause what am watching, turn off the hdmi button on tv remote, wait a few seconds, hit hdmi on tv remote again, then the sound comes back on. Sort of a hassle but is the best I can do. Wish it would not happen. Wasn't what I was watching as it did fine if I tried same program on laptop. Still a hassle at times.

I received this as part of a deal with Sling TV. I also have an Apple TV, which I love, but Sling is not available there. So, with Roku, I have access to Sling TV, Amazon Prime, and several other apps and services that are not available on Apple. The quality is very good, and it is easy to use.

Works great!

Purchased the Roku 2 about two weeks ago and works great. Setup was simple and I like the small form factor of the device. Nice audio feedback chime when you send a command from the remote.
Hardest part was getting the cable company to downgrade my service to just the Internet. Still learning all the features of device and love having all my programs at my fingertips and on my schedule.
