I bought a Roku TV last Month and liked it so much that I bought a Roku 2 for my other TV. I have DSL internet and streaming content with my Blu-Ray Player resulted in a lot of freezing and buffering. The Roku has a great media player, no interruptions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We got a Roku 2 specifically to watch Sling TV, but we use it all the time! We have a smart TV, but we love our Roku and wish we'd just gotten it instead!

Happy for the most part

So far, I'm much happier with the streaming capabilities of the Roku 2 than I was with my Samsung F-5900 blu-ray player, which was constantly stalling on Netflix.
Roku 2 has much smoother streaming, with no stalling, etc.
However, I'm not always happy with the resolution... it sometimes seems to be very low quality and not Hi-Def.
It does offer some great streaming channels. Some are free, although many call for extra charges.
Some of the free channels seem to have a glitch, where they'll play the same commercials 3 or 4 times in a row, which can be pretty aggravating.
There's also an issue with FF and REW... it doesn't seem to show you where you're going on some of the channels.
Overall though, I'd say I am mostly happy and really enjoying my new Roku 2!
The setup was VERY easy and getting the streaming channels was pretty simple too.

Roku fan for years

This is the latest roku to add to my collection. Roku 2 in the livingroom, Roku 3 in our bedroom (it has a headphone jack in the remote), one roku tv for each of the kids' bedrooms. Roku has been on the right track for the future of entertainment! The new roku 2 was perfect for us. Keep doing what your doing. It just keeps getting better for cord cutters like us:)
