I have a Roku 3 in my living room and love it. When I upgraded my TV, I moved the old one to the bedroom. I was going to use my Roku 1, but found that inexplicably in the 2 years that it was in storage (It was my first Roku before buying the 3) that its wifi had quit working, just simply sitting in storage. So, I bought the Roku 2 as a replacement, and use it wired thru a powerline to ethernet adapter. Same great performance as the Roku 3, and the point and click remote isn't an issue as the player is right next to the tv, vs hidden in the entertainment center in the living room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

OK, but faster download speed as not noticible

Mainly bought this Roku model for the advertised faster download speed, but alas, no noticeable difference from our old basic Roku unit.

I have been looking at these for awhile... I have a BluRay player that has Netflix but it kept freezing and not being able to connect... I have had no issues with the Roku 2..... It is very fast and awesome picture as well...... Loving it

I bought my first ROKU stick about 2 years ago to try it out. Needless to say it was great. I have one in every room in my house. I can watch shows that I have never heard of or seen without the high cost of cable. I Love My ROKU!!!
