Much Faster!

Roku 2 streams noticeably faster than my old original Roku. It must store more, too, because I haven't had to reboot yet during sessions of binge-watching.

Roku 2 Problems Set Up

It took me three weeks setting my Roku 2 up. I was on the phone daily with Roku, wifi service and my internet server before I was able to watch anything on the Roku 2.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Came with special offer when I purchased Sling. So pleased with it. I can use my Hulu Netflix and Pandora all with it!!!!! Works great. Was easy to set up and continues to be easy to use.

Tedious setup, account and credit card required

It works to connect to streaming services, but setup is tedious.. Don't like that you have to setup a Roku account to use it. Don't like that you have to put a credit card on file with the Roku account. A smart TV works as well, is easier to set up, and doesn't require accounts and credit cards.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best value in ROKU devices. The only thing that separates the ROKU 2 from the ROKU 3 is in the remote. For me, using the ROKU app on my iPhone, makes this a non-issue.
