Our Roku 3 randomly died one day and my husband cheaped out and bought the Roku 2 as a replacement. It is SUPER slow loading and the picture quality is horrible. Constantly buffering. I ended up buying another Roku 3.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the reason I gave it only 2 stars due to the fact that it does freeze up ALOT. I am tempted to go back to my cable box..

I upgraded my Roku sticks to these Roku 2 devices and and figure out what's the difference? Besides Roku 2 taking up more space? I'd rather have the sticks hidden behind the TV

Easy and Fun!

I bought the new Roku 2 some time ago to use with SlingTV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc....It's so easy to use and I love that I can use voice search on my phone while I am watching a movie/show and then select what I want from any of my channels without interrupting the current show while I am looking at search results.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this after returning the stick version and I couldn't be more happier. I highly recommend this even if you could use the stick. I had problems with the remote on the stick and don't have any problems with this.

Great shows

This is for the TV in the master bed room. I have one for the grandchildren. I saved money by dropping cable and it has all the shows that I watched when I had Dish.
