Great Device....

I bought the Roku 2 and set it up a couple weeks ago. The setup was painless the streaming speed absolutely the best I've seen to date! This is one great device...I know I'll never miss the hiccups!

Great device but remote almost never works

This is my second Roku device after my excellent first one lasted seven years. I love it, EXCEPT the remote works intermittently or not at all. For a remote, I downloaded the free Roku app (which includes a wifi remote) onto my iPhone which makes the Roku box useable. This is disappointing for an otherwise fine device. I would love to hear a solution to this from Roku.

Needs rebooted daily or more frequently

I have to reboot the unit after it freezes or stops responding to the remote control. The whe reason I replaced my first roku was to fix the reboot requirement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I did my research so I could cut my cable, and the Roku 2 stood out among the slew of products out there. From unboxing to sitting back and watching my favorite shows took so little time, I thought I missed a step.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and am loving it so far. It was very easy to set up, it is fast connecting and streaming, and the small size is very convenient for attaching to different televisions and devices.

I just bought the roku a few weeks ago and I love it. It the best choice in me wanting to try something new outside of cable. So many great options to choose from. I can watch what I want to watch!
