The Roku 2 is much more than "I got what I paid for"; this little device added much value to our home entertainment system by enabling us to better utilize all the services we were already paying for.
Although we had a blu-ray player that somewhat made our TV "smart" in that it allowed us to access Netflix and Hulu, I still had to haul down and connect the laptop anytime we wanted to access Sling TV. Now, all three services are accessible from one location, and I now have use of my laptop for other purposes!
I would recommend this to a friend!

My son actually bought the Roku for himself. However, since he was visiting he thought he would install it on my TV so we could look at shows over the weekend. Let's just say...I kept it and the next day we bought another one for him. I love it...I love it and so does he. It is fast, we have a great selection of shows, and a nice variety. I should have bought this a year ago. Listen, this is a great product, buy it you will not be disappointed.

Had this about a month and still learning about it. It has a lot of features and a lot of third party apps that are really good.Right now I have 63 channels and they are all free.Worked so good I bought three for the house

Easy to use and a lot channels

I bought this a couple weeks ago. So far I really like it, my only flaw with it is that you can't cast websites to the TV as easily as the Chrome cast. But it has a lot more choices than other streaming devices which is a huge plus.

I bought one of these.... previously was trying to stream through a DVD player. Was having problems. No problems with Roku 2. Wound up buying 2 more for other TVs.
