This is my 2nd ROKU 2. The first one finally died after several years. We tried the STICK, IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL. So we bought ROKU 2, which is faster and works very weel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dumped my direct tv. Love the savings and I can use my phone right along with it.

Wow I was using my smart tv and bluesy to stream nextflix ans Amazon. I am blown away by how much better it runs using Roku. It is super fast to start streaming and shows start instantly. Works great with my harmony hub too.

Works well. Pros: price point, performance, makes a wealth of free and low cost programming conveniently available, dedicated sling tv button on remote. Cons: lack of headphone Jack on remote.

The Roku 2 works very well once it is turned on. The problem is that if I simply shift my tv input from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2, the catalog will download, but when I try to view a program I get a message like "HDCP Content Not Allowed," and there is sound, but not picture. In order to correct it I have to unplug the Roku and then plug it back in.
