I bought this for my daughter thinking it would be an easy way for her to watch movies in her room. I like it, I wish it had more kid-friendly features. Such as it doesn't support "profiles" on Netflix, I would like to choose the kids only profile. It just means more adult supervision. The only other complaint I have, it has a slow start up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the wired ethernet option

Wired ethernet connevtion made a world of difference in buffering. Pages load faster and no buffering while watching the videos.

The Roku 2 is really a neat device and saved money by purchasing this model and not the newest Roku, Alot of same features as new ones and just as powerful!!
Like that it has the Mirroring function, works well!!

Love my roku

We decided to cut our cable cord and just use antenna and purchase a roku 2. One of the best decisions we have ever made! We have saved a ton of money and still get to watch our favorites on our antenna which is the mohu leaf as well as netflix and rokus other great channels. Very happy with this device and is worth every penny!

Beats Paying High Price For Cable TV

I was tired of paying the cable company a large portion of a car payment, so I looked for alternatives and Roku fit the bill.

For the most part, I get the channels and shows I want. There are a lot of noise when it comes to repetitive services (i.e. apps). A bit of trial and error helped me filter to only the programs that I want.
