GREAT - but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would be a perfect TV if it weren't for the ABC (automatic brightness control). You can't disable it so you're stuck with it - ruining an otherwise near-perfect image.

Excellent contrast

I brought this a week ago. Both me and my wife love thi TV. It shows features in the picture that you cannot see on regular LED TVs.
On the minus side, the web UI is not as slick as a roku 3 and could use some improvement - dont get me wrong - the web UI is good too.

Great picture. Best 3D Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I looked at the price of the TV...I thought ridiculous. But when I got this TV set up in my home...there are no words. This TV's picture is incredible; and it's not even a 4K Ultra. Would I recommend this TV...absolutely. However, I gave it a 4-star because the TV is just a bit dark. The Black(s) bring out the colorful images; but, the brightness adjuster could be able to brighten just a bit more. I would have like to see a wide (picture) button on the remote itself. I guess the most concerning thing is that I wanted the TV mostly for the browser use. I am unable to view video's on the web due to the flash player being out of date at the time of purchase. There is no way to upgrade this...I was just out of luck. Not very happy about that; but, overall the TV is incredible and I can't wait to upgrade to the 4K Ultra version of this TV. They just need to bring that price down a bit.

Best TV Ever Made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If used in a dim/dark room, this TV can't be matched. The curved glossy screen can be a problem for windows nearby though. Even so, because of the contrast and clarity, the TV is still quite viewable even across from a bright light source.
As cord cutters, we use this TV with our attic mount antenna. And changing channels couldn't be easier... hit the microphone button and say, "Got to <channel name>". We have our Roku hooked up to HDMI 1 and it's pretty easy just to say, "Go to HDMI 1".
Even without a Roku, the WebOS apps work quite well and there is a alot of apps you can download and add to the TV, including games.
I have tested this with some of the awesome LG apps for my smart phone and it makes the phone almost identical to using the remote, even with the motion cursor. Screen casting from my phone (I have an HTC One M8) is easy and works quite well.
This could be the super TV you are looking for.
